"Systembolaget" is the only place in sweden you can buy alcohol (except from bars and restaurants) since the government has a monopoly. Several stores around the city. Open mon-sat.

Enjoy the culture of sweden and make sure to visit "Systembolaget" but make sure to be there before 19 or 15 on saturday to buy your booze.

This is where you get alcohol in Sweden. Yes its true, only one government owned place and that is Systembolaget. Beware of the openinghours on saturday... also closed on sundays.
