There's a lovely bistro at Marlfield called THE DUCK. It has a great menu with a beautiful garden, terrace and restaurant in a converted coach house. If you're willing to splash out, go here and you are fond of a nice environment go here. The food is good but perhaps could be improved for the prices they charge. They only do lunch and dinner, no snacks and one must eat a minimum of 2 courses for lunch and 3 for dinner. Ask when booking. Service can be slow. Essential to book.

High end, expensive guest house with reasonably good food and delightful surroundings. The Duck is a casual more reasonably priced restaurant you can book in advance..

The Duck restaurant at Marfield House is a beautiful place to eat. Reservations are a must. Nice for a special occasion, prices are on the expensive end.
