“This is an easy hike that runs along the northwest side of the Sherwins. The trail runs along the side of the mountain and has views of the entire valley below. I recommend this hike in the evenings as it can be directly in the sun during morning and early afternoon hikes. To access the trail head turn right as you exit the Snowcreek complex taking Old Mammoth Road towards Lake Mary. The trail head is only a couple of miles up the road on the left. Use Mammoth Rock, the large spire sticking out of the side of the mountain, as your guide as to where to pick up the trail head. ”
