Seriously, if you like to walk, this is a very short few mile drive south on route 67. There is a great free of charge parking lot. Or if you are a hiker then get going here right now!

One of our favorite local hikes with a beautiful view as your reward at the end. The length is suitable for kids, but younger ones may need help with the elevation change. An easier hike than Maryland Heights at just under 3 miles there and back with easy and ample parking.

Hike with great views of the Potomac River. Can continue further on the AT past the cliffs if you wish. Trailhead is 5 mins from the farm or you can access from the C&O canal.

Short hike on part of the Appalachian Trail. Comes out to beautiful outlook.
