Christianshavns Kanal is a channel in the Christianshavn district of Copenhagen. The canal runs from the northeast to the southwest and divides the borough longitudinally. To the north it is connected to the canal Trangraven, which separates Christianshavn from Holmen, while to the south it makes a perpendicular turn before it ends in Inderhavnen a little north of Langebro. Christianshavns Kanal is known for its active sailing environment with many houseboats and sailing vessels, especially in the northern part of the canal.
