Yummy Bao (Chinese buns) - the place is tiny and sometimes a wait but worth it
Affordable - its a place most tourists visit. A fusion place with sandwiches made out of food stuffed into steamed buns. Expect a wait list or go early.
A very on the radar place serving up great Bao. Generally a waiting list but can also just grab a takeaway dessert, Salted Ice Cream with Caramel Sauce Bao.
Local Delicacy (Bao - little burger), nights during the week or lunch during the weekend.

“Fun for people watching! Sit and the steps with your drink and watch the foot traffic roll by on the escalators.”

“Ho Lee Fook is best when you’re craving the addictive qualities of Asian takeaway and a loud Chinatown-basement vibe—except here dishes are creatively executed, ingredients are carefully sourced and a touch of restraint allows for appreciation of an unconventional approach. The concept is intentionally ironic in Hong Kong a city where diners demand authenticity in their Chinese cuisine. Homey dishes are served family-style, mostly plated in a nonchalant mound and heavily seasoned with spices, coriander and fried shallots capturing the essence of the chef’s Taiwanese background. Highlights: Mom’s dumplings, Kurobuta pork char siu, Fried Brussels sprouts with cauliflower and bacon chilli jam, Hamachi P.S. Walk-in only. If you want to eat inside without a wait, pop in early before the crowds settle in. ”

“A Vietnamese street food experience, (Bia Hoi) fresh Vietnamese draft beer style bar and eatery. The casual 45-seat space is a comfortable but lively (i.e. noisy) hangout, with a minimalist modern design that still feels laidback and completely unpretentious. Highlights: VFC (Vietnamese Fried Chicken Wings), Short rib lettuce wrap, Morning Glory, Pho Roll. Cocktails: Pho-jito, Far East Smash, Saigon Sour. P.S. Walk-in only. If you want to eat inside without a wait, pop in early before the crowds settle in. ”

“Good Australian coffee and breakfast/ cakes. Super chilled - you can sit on the street and people watch. At night, it turns into a bar with a great happy hour and tapas”
