Cypress Gardens is a 170-acre preserve and gardens located at 3030 Cypress Gardens Road, Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The centerpiece of the garden is the 80 acres blackwater bald cypress/tupelo swamp, surrounded with both boat tour and foot trails, Butterfly House, playground, great for whole family. Located North of Charleston S.C. its a nice day trip.

There's a butterfly house, walking trails, a swamparium (aquarium for swamp animals); they filmed the scenes from The Notebook here!

A neat tour of a swamp that has the old Cypress trees and a small zoo. It is a long ways away, but something different to consider.

An overlooked attraction in Berkeley County. If you make the drive, consider driving to see the Old Santee Canal State Park, the Berkeley Museum or staying long enough to see the sunset over the lake!
