This is the largest of the 5 frontier missions built by Spanish missionaries in the early 18th century They have a junior park ranger program. Kids get an activity book and when they complete it, they are sworn in as junior park rangers

The largest of all 5 missions. You can bike to this mission and others on the paved path along the river. There’s a bike rental station at the park a few blocks from the guesthouse.

Known as the "Queen of the Missions", this is the largest of the missions and was almost fully restored to its original design in the 1930s by the WPA (Works Projects Administration).
