If you need a quick stop while cruising around Broadway in Capital Hill, check out the Vivace Espresso Sidewalk Bar. Serving up beans for folks on the go from one of the original locally owned coffee roasters in the city, this place (and their other locations) is highly respected from locals and the coffee community.

This is the best local coffee in Seattle (Starbucks withheld) and there is a walk-up spot just down the street to the north. It's not cheap by coffee standards but is sure to be worth every penny. Locals come from all over the city to get their Sunday perk before heading to church or nearby recreational activities.
