Glacier Gorge is an incredibly beautiful area of RMNP. This trail head leads to many spectacular waterfalls and lakes. Our favorite is Sky Pond....which gives you an opportunity to climb/scramble up a waterfall to the lake in the sky! Views of Sharks Tooth ridge are amazing. Other destinations from Glacier Gorge - Mills Lake, Loch Vale, Black Lake Alberta Falls (only 1 mile from TH).

Wonderful hiking area, if you have time to make a day trip. Great during the summer to escape the heat, and Estes Park is a wonderful town!
