Cave Tubing and Zipline Adventure
(PLEASE: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE IN GOOD/EXCELLENT SHAPE FOR THIS EXCURSION AND NOT AFRAID OF HEIGHTS OR BEING DEEP WATERS) Max weight 230. In this Adventure you will visit the Tanama river in the Arecibo area. It starts with a hike down a muddy, slippery and rocky trail to the river(1.5 miles of hard hiking). We will arrive to the top of a cave and do a 250 ft long zipline that will take your breath away with the view. Here is where most participants rest a while for the next activity. When we are all set we will hike upstream to a huge cave and then jumped into the refreshing water. We will enter the caves and we will see some amazing water curtains and springs. At the exit of the second cave we do a small stop and you will have the option of submerging into the water to visit a secret cave. Tour isn’t over yet. Now the guides will show you the best tricks to do the white water tubing. While you are in the white water tubing you will pass some rapids and also some amazing canons all the way until you get to the third and last cave. At the exit of this cave you will do a small climb and the hike back to the cars. Duration 4-6 hours. Other things to note Don't let the beautiful sights fool you. This adventure is for real adventure and nature lover only. Please do NOT daydream. If you are not sure that you don't qualify you probably don't.

***GREAT FOR BEGINNERS*** ***If you have a deep fear of water or the ocean it may impact your experience - we are dive instructors not psychologists*** *From arrival to departure, the whole experience can take 2 hours, about an hour in the water, depending on the group.* We will begin our adventure with an ocean-side safety briefing while everyone is fitted for their equipment. Once we chat about how to responsibly and passively interact with turtles and other sea life, we will walk down to the beach and hit the water! Salsa Nightlife Class & Tour

Once you've built up a little "liquid courage", I will teach you the basics to Latin dancing. We'll start with the Merengue step, an easy Caribbean style that anyone can master. Then we take it up a notch and learn "Salsa de Calle" - which means Street Salsa - the style all the locals dance. Now that you've got the moves, you’re ready to hit the dance floor! PLEASE READ IN FULL BEFORE BOOKING *HURRICAINE FIONA DIDN'T AFFECTED OUR TOUR Join us in this amazing experience that take place in the foothills of El Yunque. We will drive from San Juan to the only mountain in the north-east side of Puerto Rico. At your arrival you will be set up with helmet and harness. Clip in for a ride down on 11 carbon fiber zip lines and 1 freefall rappel (aprox duration 1.5-2.5 hrs). Then Cool off with a jump in one of the natural pools (SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS) on Mameyes River after a short Natural walk of 15minutes where you can learn about the flora of El Yunque. After 2-3hrs in our park we will be headed to the Luquillo kiosk and Beach area (15min drive) to try local food and drinks (Empanadas, Alcapurria, Mojitos and more). Be a Manatee Caretaker
This is an interactive experience in which participants help prepare the daily food and assist us in offering it to our patients (manatees or pelicans) and our daily rehabilitation and animal care chores. This unique experience is offered in groups of up to 6 people and has a duration of 2 and a half hours. All guests are required to wear a face mask inside our facilities. Ultimate Hike in the Rainforest Certified Guide Small Groups
Safu Tours is different from all other providers as we only take groups of up to 4, while the rest take groups of 30+ people. By picking you up early we avoid crowds. We encourage you to read the 400+ five star reviews from past guests. We help you navigate difficult sections of the trail and enjoy safely. We start out by picking up at 6:30am at the parking lot of Kasalta Bakery. (Note: the bakery will NOT be open.) Once we arrive to El Yunque and begin our hike, our guide will offer details about the local plants and animals along the way. At our destination we will spend a couple hours enjoying the space. Guests hike and explore the rainforest including a rope swing and natural pools while others choose to simply relax, enjoying sounds and views of the rainforest. Your safety is of the utmost importance to our guides. There are both shallow and deep sections of the water, where people of all swimming levels can enjoy. The trail is muddy, rocky, and wet. There are some sections that involve climbing up and down rocks and walking through ankle-high water. It takes about 20 minutes to complete the trail each way, roughly 1 kilometer (or 0.62 miles). On our way back to San Juan, we try to stop at the Luquillo Kiosks for a quick bite at the beach when possible. Then drop you back off in San Juan you can still enjoy a full day.
Farmers Market Visit & Cooking with Nivia
We will meet at the farmers market to select the fresh produce we need to cook with. I will introduce you to some of the vendors and will share some historic factors and developments in agriculture that have impacted our gastronomy. We will meet back at my house (your own transportation) where we will enjoy a cocktail and start cooking the way my grandmother used to cook, with fresh local ingredients and a pinch of Love! We will sit at the table to eat together. After lunch, I will offer coffee, and locally made desert. Please make sure to communicate any dietary restrictions or sugestions when you reserve since I may not be able to accomodate last minute requests. The menu is preped ahead of time and is subject to availa bility of seasonal ingredients. Note: This experience is ment to be interactive intended small groups of foodies. Tanama Full Day Adventure
As soon as you arrive, you will be provided with safety equipment required for the adventure. We will hike through the forest for about an hour and a half observing parts of the Second biggest radio telescope in the world, the Arecibo Observatory, between limestone formations and a unique forest. The hike requires good physical condition. After the trail, we will reach the river full of limestone formations and springs & small waterfalls.Then we hike next to the river giving you the opportunity to relax floating down stream passing natural limestone formations. A new trail will be followed--observing natural sinkholes and other limestone formations. This experience will be unique since you will be far from the beaten path & in full contact with nature. The hike guides you through ancient Taino paths that used to connect the ocean and the mountains. The trekking takes over in the Tanama River in a remote private access giving you the experience that most travelers search when they want an authentic adventure. The view of the Tanama river while you hike through this amazing place will make unforgettable memories.The adventure will be interpreted and a guide we will be with you the entire time. We will also immortalize memories for free with cameras and guide you through the best hike in the island. Other things to note This adventure is physically challenging. It takes 6 to 7 hours, all things you bring to the adventure will get wet, and for safety reasons if your are allergic to anything or have any medical conditions that require medication, you must bring the medication with you. You need shoes with good grip.
Hike to a Hidden Waterfall
Note: This experience does not go to el Yunque national Forest. Hurricane Fiona dropped a lot of water in Puerto Rico, closing many places to see and tour. We however are open for business!! We would love to share our experience of the hurricane but also a waterfall adventure unlike no other Pick up time will be between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. Please have a good breakfast and go to the restroom before your pick up time. Pick up time will BE ON TIME!! Driving to our destination will be between 35 minutes too about 45 minutes. We will travel up into the mountains of Puerto Rico. THIS IS NOT A BEGINNERS HIKE, but on the same note, its not super impossible either. A breathtaking view of the island awaits. We will be on a TRUE hike; dirt, gravel, mud, rocks, trees etc... every natural thing you can think of taking us on our journey to a 130 foot natural rain water Waterfall! Swimming and getting under the waterfall is highly recommended. We will then proceed to a local restaurant (meal not included in price) located in the mountains of Puerto Rico. All of these things ARE NOT TOURIST AREAS. These are all local spots. Return time is usually between 3 and 5 pm. Prepare yourself for a true hike in a forest. It is definitely doable for everyone. Also, There is no RUSH while hiking. We will have a great time together. Do not be overwhelmed by what you see and what you do. Just have Fun!!

Once we are there we will start doing a 15-20 minute hike walk where we will reach one of the most beautiful rivers we have in the east side of El Yunque. When we get the river I’m going to paint your face with real clays like a Indian Taínos (Can-Jibaros) and we going to the waterfalls where you can take a bunch of picture and videos, next we keep going to enjoy in the natural waterslide, we have two (2) of the slides, you can do it more the one (1) time, we cliff jumping to and we keep enjoying the river and the rope swing, and we finish in the Crystal water for you can enjoy and have your time and you can see a small waterfalls where you can take the pictures the you want. It’s going to be a real good experience with me in this tour, you going to be real comfortable and will enjoy 100% this trip!

We’ll stop in the pristine waters of one of La Cordillera's snorkeling spots. This marine sanctuary is one of the best marine life spots in Puerto Rico, with clear turquoise waters and vibrant marine life to explore. El Kraken starts at 2 pm. We will receive the guest, walking through the cacao forrest, learning about the farming practices when it comes to fine grain cacao, learn about the importance of agroforestry, permaculture and nature conservation. Free Videos, Guided Beginner Tour! Don't know how to swim? That's ok, I specialize in taking beginners out! We will meet for check in at Escambron Beach Park (type into maps or Uber). Once you enter Escambron Beach park's main entrance, you will pass the guard shack(if you are driving you will need to pay for Parking) and continue straight down the road to the very end of the parking lot to the left. Once you arrive, you will see a a red Kiosk and snorkeling equipment. Please check in there 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Once checked in, I will go over a safety briefing and information on the sea life we will encounter. The tour will begin in the shallows where we will be trying on equipment and once comfortable we will begin snorkeling around the famous Escambron Marine park. Make sure you keep an eye out for all of the different sea life at our dive site. Because we are viewing sea life in the ocean not an aquarium, we cannot guarantee you will see sea turtles, however, majority of the time we do. Other things to note This tour was designed for any level of diver, from non swimmers to olympic gold medalists. Make sure you wear your swimwear, bring water, sunscreen and a towel. I do have a place to store your bags while on the tour.

Spin on a Pole & Learn a Dance Routine
You will arrive at a boutique dance studio located on the most famous road in Puerto Rico, Calle Fortaleza, which means "The Fortress..." just a few blocks up from the Governor's Mansion and historic 500-year-old El Morro fort. We will provide you with a great workout using gravity differently - on a pole! After the first 15 minutes of warm up, you will learn three pole tricks and a simple choreographed dance. This is a time for you to feel great and have fun! We provide coffee, hot tea, and hot towels for an entire relaxing and invigorating experience. You will leave relaxed and happy. A few notes: 1. Guests must be 18+ 2. There is no nudity allowed in the studio. 3. Appropriate behavior needs to be maintained by the guest during the experience. 4. Guests can opt-out at any time. 5. No lotion or rings, as you will slide of the pole. 6. "Booty shorts" or bathing suit bottoms recommended to wear. 7. Parking can be difficult in Old San Juan. There is a nearby lot called "Dona Fela", or you can use "La Puntilla" lot. 8. If you are taking an Uber, please allow extra time for traffic into Old San Juan. 9.
