Rosebud is a beautiful little cottage! It is a part of a large 18th Century thatched cottage set in the heart of beautiful North Dorset countryside, ideal for a peaceful getaway for two people . We are approx. 30 minutes from the Purbecks and Poole. Rosebud is newly refurbished with all the facilities you should require during your stay with us. We are very happy to help with any local advice as we love this part of the world and are pleased to be able to share it with you.

This beautiful clean double bedroom in a secluded part of a quiet family home, with adjoining toilet, is bright and sunny, with a high ceiling and Portland stone floor. It has double doors opening out onto the large garden; perfect for sitting out in the evening with a glass of wine and looking at the incredible stars. Our early Victorian house is informal and relaxed; I have 2 small friendly dogs 🐕 🐕 and a pet sparrow! We love to meet new people!

The cottage is a lovely grade II, listed, cob and thatched cottage. It's in a conservation area in the quaint village of Winterborne Stickland, which is also an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The local pub is a very short walk away (2mins) and provides good food. The cottage has it’s own self-catering kitchen and seating for five. Breakfast is therefore not provided but a welcome pack of milk, tea and coffee and locally made Dorset biscuits is provided.
