The Herman A Cook HouseThe Herman Cook House was built in 1913 and is listed on The National Registry Of Historic Places. The house is approximately 4 blocks from down town Houma.Down town offers restaurants, music, holiday festivals, and shopping and let’s not forget our biggest attraction which is Mardi Gras. The parades pass in front of the Cook House. There are approximately 7 parades over a 12 day period. We look forward to making our guest stay enjoyable at the Herman A Cook House.

We offer high speed internet, plenty of luxury bedding and toiletries such as Shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We are located in a safe and quiet neighborhood in Thibodaux La. Walking distance to the Thibodaux regional Health system, within two miles of Nicholls State university, the Bayou Country Children's museum and Historic Downtown Thibodaux. There is plenty to explore.

The “Marie Celeste” at Destrehan PlantationThe Marie Celeste is located 30 minutes away from New Orleans and 10 minutes away from the New Orleans International Airport. The cottage has a vintage charm with modern day conveniences. The Marie Celeste sleeps a maximum of six people and is handicap accessible. The cottage is easily accessible off of River Road, and the parking is free and limited to three (3) vehicles. A discounted tour of Destrehan Plantation for $12.00 per person, plus tax is included with this rental.
