516 is a fantastic resource and anchor for contemporary art, both in Downtown Albuquerque and in the region. Over the last decade the team there has consistently worked with local, national, and international artists to create installations that are thought provoking, relevant, and consistently executed across a variety of mediums, incl. visual arts, mixed media, sculpture, street art & murals, and more. One of the best local arts non-profits and galleries. Always interesting revolving exhibits, usually on alternative medias, in their small but accessible downtown storefront.

Fantastic non-profit contemporary gallery. Next door is the sophisticated Richard Levy Gallery representing outstanding artists. Also, next door and upstairs, is Central Features, with a unique mix of local experimental art.
