Near the Alamo, this shopping area, which also has a cafe and restaurant, is made up of really charming, small historic building. I love just strolling around and browsing the unique shops.
A must-see. La Villita was originally settled nearly 300 years ago as one of the city's first neighborhoods. Walk around La Villita, catch a performance at the Arneson River Theater and stroll up and down the famous River Walk or go on a boat tour!
San Antonio's first established neighborhood, this area was bought by the city in the 1920's and converted into a cultural arts district. It now hosts many festivals and events that define San Antonio's culture, including one of the most popular Fiesta events - NIOSA.
Beautiful downtown scenery. We actually got married at The Little Church of La Villita.

“This is my favorite Happy Hour spot at 709 South Alamo Street. There is a huge outdoor patio where you can enjoy cocktails and appetizers for $3.50 each from 4-7 during the long daily happy hour.”
