This park has tons of walking trails and amazing views of downtown Baton Rouge. The trees hang low in true Louisiana style. This is an excellent place for a walk or picnic! There is no admission fee to enter the park. Dogs are welcome (on leash).

A beautiful park with a museum that sits behind the State Capitol. Walking the grounds and lakes is a nice way to start your evening.
