Historic Swiss Settlement (on former Ho-Chunk land). Quaint shopping, antiques, boutiques, cheese, food, LOTS of beer festivals outside. Great park and pool. Check the chamber website for events. Rent bikes from the Visitor Center and head out on the Sugar River Trail for the day!
Settled by Swiss immigrants, the town retains its cultural heritage and historic downtown. Home of the New Glarus Brewing Company. Ice cream and fudge shops, gift shops, good places to eat, outdoor historic museum - it's the perfect little day trip!
Great little town about an hour drive. Visit New Glarus brewery (makes Spotted Cow). Town has lots of nice stores, coffee shops and wine tasting.
