The Merlion is an iconic statue with the body of a fish & head of a lion, shooting water from its mouth. Getting there: From Braddell, take train towards Marina Bay and alight at Raffles Place. Exit towards United Overseas Bank Plaza. Mid way of the plaza, you will see Fullerton Hotel. Merlion Park is just behind the Hotel.

The Merlion (Malay: Singa-Laut, Chinese: 鱼尾狮, Tamil: மெர்லயன்) is the official mascot of Singapore, depicted as a mythical creature with a lion's head and the body of a fish.
