If you want an “under the radar” experience and you don’t mind walking a bit, head north six blocks and turn left at 23rd street. Seven blocks down on the right (#400) is a white row home that houses W.C. Harlan, a dimly lit bar with a 1920s speakeasy feel that serves good hand-made cocktails.

One of the coolest. Feels secretive, underground, exclusive. Dark lighting, excellent drinks.
