CVS is our nearest (and newest) pharmacy. Interesting factoid…. In the 30’s and 40’s the building was the home of the “Hippo Club” a popular dinner dance club. Even more interesting factoid… prior to its latest conversion, the building housed “The Hippo,” a popular gay dance club. Many patrons still half expect to see a disco ball drop out of the ceiling while perusing the Allergy and Cold isle.

The ubiquitous drugstore! There's also a new CVS at 3200 St. Paul Street, approximately across from Eddie's Market.
