While many flock to the Pearl for the food scene and things to do, strolling the grounds is essential to your visit to. Specifically, the river basin where the barges change direction makes for a beautiful sight. The smaller waterfalls and rushing current make for a calming soundscape, too. Consider it the cherry on top. -San Antonio Current

The Pearl has a variety of restaurants, bars and shops to choose from. You can spend hours walking around. Depending on when you visit there are special events at The Pearl.

• The Pearl Brewery: Pearl, located north of downtown San Antonio, provides a unique experience as a top culinary and cultural destination. The mixed-use space features retail, dining, picturesque green spaces, a riverside amphitheater, and the third campus of The Culinary Institute of America.

This is one my family’s Favorite places to spend time at in downtown San Antonio. An old brewery turned into upscale Hotel Emma and dining district. There’s always something going on. Pearl Farmer’s Market on Sat-Sun mornings, the Bottling Department Food Hall open daily, plenty of whimsical boutiques, our personal fav, Bakery Lorraine(try the macaroons 😍), and of course the scenic river walk. There’s also a splash pad for the little ones on a hot day! Anytime someone comes to visit, this is a must see!
