Historic, Beautiful cathedral. Built in 1750. Impressive light show of San Antonio’s history on side of church most evenings free of charge. Very unique!
A 288-year-old church in the heart of downtown. FYI they have a cool light show (Instagram worthy) on the church every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 9:00pm, 9:30pm and 10:00pm.

America's oldest cathedral sanctuary is San Antonio's San Fernando Cathedral, which was founded in 1731 by Canary Islanders. Its 9 a.m. Sunday mass is broadcast across the country; it can also be seen locally on Catholic Television of San Antonio, cable channel 15. The cathedral is also well known…
Beautiful at night, sometimes there is a light show on the facade of the building (shown in cover photo).
Lovely, oldest cathedral in Texas, Catholic church still holds mass here. Many weddings and other services. At night, the front of the cathedral turns into a light art project. Called The Saga, it's a 20-minute free light show depicting the founding of San Antonio through today.
