While everyone loves to visit The Alamo, as they should, I love the old missions that can be visited by automobile or by bicycle along the Riverwalk south of downtown. Also great picnic sites!

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the mission trail connect the missions. We recommended using the bike share program and riding to the parks in nice weather. Ranger tours are highly recommended.
