Great bar with a progressive menu that includes lots of interesting daily specials. All the chicken and meat used is locally raised on the Wooden Nickel Farm. Chicken wings are a favorite as well as the garlic fries and tater tots.

Well worth the trip to HIstoric Hillsborough, this place has the best Buffalo Chicken Wings I have ever had. Wooden Nickle is a small place with outdoor seating, great for dogs and local brews

Matt Fox owns both the Wooden Nickel and James Pharmacy next door. Great food and pub atmosphere.
