Alamo Beer Hall is one of the biggest breweries in San Antonio. They have a lot of nice lagers and German-style beer.
Local brewery located next to Hays St. Bridge - a great place to take photos
Beer hall and biergarten which hosts weekly events including tastings and brewery tours.
This is conveniently located in the neighborhood and the setting beneath the Hayes Street Bridge is very cool. We've seen live music here and can always catch a good food truck.
Awesome local brewery with great beers. Family and pet friendly. They also have food trucks when open to the public (Thursday - Sunday).
Since December 2014, Alamo Beer Company has proudly brewed the only beer to bear the ALAMO name since the start of Prohibition in 1919. And just like the stories of The Alamo Defenders, the history of our beer is our courageous, independent, unrestrained and true to itself.

“Great, relaxed, family-friendly outdoor spot that often has live music. It's about a mile straight down Burleson from StayKind toward downtown/Hwy. 37.”

“Rice bowls are amazing here. Highly recommend trying their mac n cheese but come early because they run out quickly. Great place to grab a quick bite. Prices are around $10 for a rice bowl with salmon/chicken/shrimp and rice + a salad.”

“If you've never been to San Antonio, then you may not know that, in addition to being the 7th largest city in the US and one of the top 10 recommended travel destinations in the world, it is quickly becoming the craft beer mecca of the western hemisphere. So, instead of buying-up Subway franchises, local investors are putting their money into beer gardens and brewpubs...and, earning high returns from the legion of crafty beer-types that firmly believe that paying anything for a glass of hops, barley and spices is perfectly acceptable. Big Hops has three locations in San Antonio, but this one on Austin Street is the only one anywhere near the downtown core and the cool part of the city.”

“This place has it all! The Original Fatty's Burgers; specialty fries; beer battered onion rings; chicken sandwiches; salads; & more. Mark & his family are huge community advocates participating in & hosting several important events. You don't want to visit San Antonio without trying this place & it's conveniently located in the neighborhood. ”
