Romanesque abbey that has been owned by Lorenza de' Medici's family. Wine has been produced here since the abbey was founded by Vallombrosan monks in the 11th century.

Not only a world class winery with a stupendous monastery but also surrounding gardens and hiking trails. My wife goes running here almost everyday.

World famous restaurant and cooking school. A bit touristy and over-rated for our taste but worth a visit. Scenic location.

Step back in time by visitng this 10C abbey and also take part in one of the wine tours in the cellars below. This is the genuine Tuscany not the stuff set up for the tourists
