Food Scene
This cafe is only a couple of streets up from the flat. The atmosphere is quite good, plus they use Iggy's bread which is the absolute best sourdough in Sydney, in my humble opinion. The food is very food, particularly breakfast, and they have yummy frozen take-away food that you can easily re-heat at home if you're in a rush and don't want to cook. Be mindful as they close quite early (3pm on weekends and 4pm on weekdays).

It has a great atmosphere. I don't particularly recommend the food (it isn't bad at all but not their forte) but having a wine pre-dinner on the terrace at the top floor is just wonderful.

Closing at 9pm, it's a great spot to have an early dinner by the beach, then go for a stroll down on the sand. Food is Brazilian style. I recommend to have an açai bowl for brekky or the burrito bowl for lunch or dinner. The feijoada is also nice if you're big on beans!

A great place to have a fancy dinner, or early drinks and enjoy the views over Bondi Beach and the iconic Iceberg's pool. Make reservations as it fills up quickly!

Nice place for lots of take-away options. Not as nice to sit and chill, but they also have some sitting outdoors if you like to enjoy the bustle and hustle of the street.

Go for an early coffee + walk to the beach. They have alternatives like Turmeric latter or Chai, and it's a lovely spot to sit for a while close to the beach.

Getting Around
This is the closest bus stop. If you'd like to have an updated timetable I recommend you download the TripView app. You can choose the route (number 360 goes through this stop) and it tells you the times the bus will come, even if late.

This is the main train station. From here you can take trains into the city (CBD), north (Northern Beaches), south (Royal National Park), or Circular Quay, where you can take ferries across the harbour.

This is a must-do walk. The views are stunning. I recommend you go all the way to Coogee and stop in Clovelly for a bite, either ar Burnies, or at the kiosk for something fast. Go at dusk to avoid the burning sun during summertime!

My favourite is the latter as they have more local produce and lots of quirky things like nice coffee, interesting cheeses, meat, fresh bread... etc.
You'll also find any other shop you need, from Target to Prada. The cinema is also here, and just across the street from Westfield is an outdoor shopping strip.

This is a big convenience store. They mainly sell alcohol but also stock quite a few essentials like shampoo, deodorant, basic groceries, etc. If you don't need to do a big shop, I'd recommend going here instead of catching the bus to Westfield.
