Almost everyone will use a bike to get around and if you are visiting friends here they will for sure ask you to get one (or borrow you one). But be carefull! People on bikes move fast and there are a lot of them so take your time, and don't ride your bike drunk.

Go to Christiania: This is a very unique landmark in Copenhagen. This city was founded by a group of people who claimed an area, and for 40 years did not follow the same laws as the rest of Denmark. For example, hash is sold on the street (or at least it used to be, but the ‘Christianittes’ kicked the criminals out). To be honest we haven’t been there during winter, but during summer there are cool art shops, organic cafes, and a nearby lake where people have built their own houses. It is a very interesting place, and we would definitely recommend going there – however, be aware of tricksters, and the people selling weed. So if you bring your children just be cautious because the area some
