Tapas! They are a great spot for a nice evening out. Their food is delicious and they have some wonderful drinks also. Check their hours. Reservations are a necessity.

What I like about Lone Eagle is their location. It's on the water and they have a nice fire pit outside not to mention the water is accessible. They have a great Charcuterie board. It's across from the Hyatt and reservations are recommended.

Yummy pizza!! It's a very casual dining place. You could walk directly in after a day on the slopes or at the beach. Their pizza is delish.

Hook 'em horns! Austin's is a great place for dining. They have a wonderful chicken fried steak and their cornbread is yummy. I enjoy their blueberry mule. They have both inside and outside dining.

When I want Mexican food, this is my go to. It's in Cali, but not too far. Hey, you can say "I went to Cali today". They have all around good food. It's a little pricey, but their roof top dining is nice. Worth the short drive.

Emerald Bay is near South Lake Tahoe. It is a lovely drive and wonderful hike. You will hike down the mountain to the water and then have to turn around and hike back up. There is an opportunity to kayak (Fannette Island), tour a castle (Vikingsholm), and see waterfalls (Lower Eagle Falls). Dogs are not allowed, per website.

Emerald Bay is near South Lake Tahoe. It is a lovely drive and wonderful hike. You will hike down the mountain to the water and then have to turn around and hike back up. There is an opportunity to kayak (Fannette Island), tour a castle (Vikingsholm), and see waterfalls (Lower Eagle Falls). Dogs are not allowed, per website.
It truly looks like a monkey! This is near Tunnel Creek Cafe and the east shore trail. You will walk along side Tunnel Creek and up the dirt trail. It is completely worth the hike up. The view is spectacular.

When you tire of Diamond Peak, Northstar is a second option. Not far from Incline, I hear the runs are fabulous and you never will get bored on them.

Beaches
Sand Harbor is a public beach near Incline Village on Hwy 28. It does cost money to enter and access is limited. If you don't arrive early enough, the parking lot will fill and access is difficult. It is at the end of the east shore trail. The sand is a fine sand.

Truckee is a neat little California town that has a railroad pass through it. It's quaint downtown has several t-shirt shops, novelty stores, food, coffee, and is a nice stroll.

The drive is awesome and the town is pretty cool. I've not strolled through it, but I hear it's a neat place to go. They have a cool candy store with many other small shops.

The drive around the lake takes you through South Lake Tahoe. It's much more commercialized than what you find in North Lake Tahoe. Your options for stores is much more vast than Incline. It's a great half way point for the drive around the lake which takes approximately 3 hours.
