This spacious and comfortable 51-foot custom party fishing boat features onboard restrooms and is docked at Englewood Bait House. The boat is US Coast Guard certified for 49 passengers and can be chartered for individuals or groups.

The recreation center at Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park features a multi-purpose gymnasium with six basketball goals, lined for four pickleball courts and two volleyball courts, two multi-purpose rooms perfect for your next meeting, family reunion, party or wedding reception, a fitness center featuring cardio equipment and changing rooms, and a community garden.
Outdoor facilities include a children's playground area, picnic pavilion, an 8 lane, 25-yard competitive swimming pool, diving well with a one meter diving board and wheelchair ramp for accessibility, splash pad, cricket/multi-purpose field, disc golf, paw park, 2 basketball courts, 3 lighted football fields, skate park and two tennis courts lined for pickleball courts.
Regular activities at Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park Recreation Center include summer camp, walking fitness, pickleball, youth programs, card and game club, family game day, open gym, drop-in basketball, drop-in badminton and drop-in volleyball. Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park Recreation Center is perfect for parties, dances, sports, fitness classes, competitions or meetings. Rental rates are based on amount of space used and type of event to be held.

In the winter they show their breeding plummage and mating dances. You will see Great blue heron, Great egrets, Snowy Egrets, Anhinga, ducks, turtles and alligators. Worth the drive and easy access off of 41. Go about 1 hour before sunset to watch the nighttime show. As the sun is setting be sure to look to the left to see the hundreds of bats coming out of their boxes. It’s just spectacular as watching the birds. Be sure to bring along binoculars and a camera.

The gators gather around what's called the 'Deep Hole' sinkhole, which is a 200-foot-wide, 130- to 140-foot-deep pool at Myakka River State Park that has become known for its high population of alligators.
The spot is considered one of the best gator-watching sites in the park, and even in the state.
Tourists can only get to the site with a special permit; 30 per day are available. So arrive when the park opens in the morning to get your permit. It’s a long but so worth it walk to the Deep Hole! Take sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, binoculars and water. A

From downtown, take the Ringling Causeway to St. Armands Circle and head about one mile north to Mote's address, which is on City Island.

Beaches
Boca Grande is a small residential community on Gasparilla Island in southwest Florida. There is a $6 fee to cross the causeway. Boca Grande is known for its historic downtown with shops, beautiful sugar sand beaches, blue water and world class fishing. All the roads on the right before town is open public beaches. One of my personal favorites is 19th street. 10 miles from here.

Boat launching sites are located within one mile of Stump Pass and the nearby islands.
The protected waters of the bay are ideal for small boat cruising, sailing and water skiing.
Fishing
Fishing is popular around Stump Pass and on the nearby grass flats. Catches can yield catches of flounder, snook, trout, redfish, snapper, whiting, sheepshead and tarpon.
Nature Trails
Take a quiet stoll along a hiking trail that stretches to the southern end of the park, through the park’s five distinct natural communities. Protected plants that can been observed in the park are beach creeper, twistpine prickly pear cactus, indigo berry, necklace pod, bay cedar, and coontie.
Picnicking
The park has six covered picnic tables. One is located near the restroom facility and the other five are located along the hiking trail.
Shelling
Shelling is best during the winter months, but visitors are reminded that the taking of live shells (hermit crabs, sand dollars, etc.) is prohibited
Swimming
Swimming and sunbathing are popular activities on the beautiful beaches located on the gulf side of the island.
Wildlife Viewing
Some of the protected animal species that visitors might see at Stump Pass Beach are the West Indian manatee, gopher tortoise, snowy egret, osprey, black skimmer, least tern and magnificent frigatebird.

Long Marsh Golf Course is a Semi-Private, 27 hole golf facility located in Rotonda, Florida. The facility has three 9-hole courses. They are The Long Marsh 9, The White Marsh 9 and The Pine Valley 9. These 9-hole segments can be combined to form 3 different 18-hole combinations. The course first opened for play in 1999. The course was designed by Ted McAnlis.
The Club gets its name from the neighboring wetlands. Like many Florida golf course, Long Marsh sits relatively flat terrain. Wide fairways and large greens combine to make this course very "golfer-friendly." Local golfers state that the layout offers a challenge, yet does not "beat you up."
