FOOT GOLF - Foot Golf, the new craze, is a great alternative to golf. The game is ideal for a family day out, groups of friends and requires no special equipment or skills - if you can kick a ball then you can play!
FOOT POOL - This is a unique game, created at Blackwater Golf Course. It's played on a large pool table with footballs, and is quite simply football using the rules of pool! No great fitness or strength is required for this game, and it can be played by everyone from children to the elderly.

Blackwater Open Farm is an 11 minute drive from the property. It was awarded Best Family – Friendly Farm Attraction of Irish Enterprise Awards 2022.
A great day out for all the family. You can get up close to the bunnies & chicks, meet the larger animals, play in the playground, milk Jessie the dairy cow, ride the tractors and enjoy something to eat in the restaurant.

Curracloe beach
Curracloe beach is a 15 minute drive from the property.

Ballinesker beach is a 13 minute drive from the property and is also a blue flag beach. Has toilet facilities and car parking. this beach leads to Curracloe.
This is also the beach where Steven Spielberg shot the film “Saving Private Ryan” in 1997 and is covered in soft, wind blown sand. Many of the film crew frequented Corrigans Pub in Blackwater , where you will see Tom Hanks army boots hanging up!

Ballinesker beach is a 13 minute drive from the property and is also a blue flag beach. Has toilet facilities and car parking. this beach leads to Curracloe.

You will find a small fishing village where you will often see people crab fishing from the pier. Cahore is a gorgeous little harbour with lovely views north towards Tara Hill and Arklow.
There is a lovely paved walk from here to Old Bawn beach along the top of the cliffs.
There is also a pub/restaurant located above the pier where you can enjoy a creamy pint and take in the views.
This is one of our personal favourites - we order a fresh baked pizza and watch the world go by!
Cahore Pier
Cahore point is a 17 minute drive from the property.
You will find a small fishing village where you will often see people crab fishing from the pier. Cahore is a gorgeous little harbour with lovely views north towards Tara Hill and Arklow.
There is a lovely paved walk from here to Old Bawn beach along the top of the cliffs.
There is also a pub/restaurant located above the pier where you can enjoy a creamy pint and take in the views.
