Great happy hour that goes until 6 (with $10 half dozen oysters), well-made cocktails and a raw bar. Also great fish and chips! Restaurant is half a block away. I like the atmosphere at the bar side better than the dining side, so I always ask to be seated there.

Best pie in Detroit! They also usually have a great soup or salad offering at lunchtime. Even though they close in the late afternoon, they often sell out, so get there before noon to be safe! I like the salted maple slice.
