These are some of my favorite restaurants in Miami. Some are cheap, some not so cheap but they're all really good! Make sure to double check that they are still open!
Little Havana location.
Great local restaurant with fantastic food. Lovely outdoor space in the rear of the restaurant with picnic tables and local live music.

Wynwood location
One of my favorite spots in Miami. This small house doesn't look like much from the outside but once you step inside you'll find yourself in a comfortable living room that leads to a massive back yard. Once inside you are guided to several large refrigerators full of assorted cheeses and meats. Just pull out what you want, go to the counter, order your wine and the staff takes care of the rest. Your bottle gets opened, your choices of cheeses and meats gets turned into a lovely charcuterie board that you can enjoy in the massive back yard. There's a restaurant on site (need reservations) or you can simply get a glass or bottle and sit at one of the open picnic tables. There is a brewery just next door (Miami Brewing Company) with pools tables, video games and a delicious assortment of local brews. They also have a basic bar food menu.

Nice park where you can let your dog off leash if he obeys commands and there is a nice size enclosed dog park as well. Beautiful view of the bay as well.
