The Denver Botanic Gardens are within Walking distance .6 mi from our Airbnb. The walk is mostly flat and will take a leisurely 13 mins. Currently, you will need to make reservations online for a specific day and time due to Covid19. But the gardens and outside artwork is worth it. My favorite outing is to take a picnic to the gardens in the evening, enjoy a stroll, cocktails and picnic dinner. https://www.botanicgardens.org

Mount Evans is a 14,000 foot mountain drive. It sits just outside of town and is a majestic sight to behold and epic driving experience. *Be sure to enjoy this adventure with someone who is a competent driver and not phased by height!
