Good coffee spot in the middle of Sherman Ave. Great place to get on wifi and do some emails or work on your computer. Also they have good breakfast burritos to get you going in the AM!

Best sushi hands down in the area. Small cozy vibe with new art work going up on the wall monthly. Get a reservation on the weekends or you will be waiting at least an hour for a table. Its small and only has seating for about 30 people. Great local favorite and our date night choice when we don't have the kids with us. ;) (Ask for the secret menu or off menu speciality rolls.. Try the S&M roll! My fav.)

You will love the choices of micro brews and you have to try my favorite "Hoppypotomus" or the "Blood Orange IPA" They have the largest plate of Pork Nachos I've ever seen, feeds 3-4 people easily.
We love this spot for breakfast. Good for large groups, Families and early eaters. Great scrambles and large portions you will be filled up and ready for the day!

This Food truck in my opinion has the best Mexican food in town...I'm from San Francisco and it rivals the great Mex. food of California. Plus they make a killer breakfast burrito! You can call their number and order ahead so its ready when you show up. Lunch times get pretty busy so a phone call is a good option.

Great date night spot. You can drive, bike or boat into their dock on the lake... Outdoor seating is coveted and its a good idea to call in for a reservation and request out door dinning if the weather is good. Sunset dinning here is the best. Its a little fancy for younger children in my opinion.

Great short hike just a short walk from your front door. This is a MUST do when your in CDA. A mellow hike that has stunning views of the lake and CDA resort property. You can also find a quick spot to dip in the water or jump off some of the rock cliffs that are all around this fun little mountain downtown. Good running trail in the early AM but look out for people walking their dogs. Good for kids too.

Health food store. This is our Wholefoods of CDA. It has a great little cafe and deli in the back of the store that we often grab lunch at also. Amazing selections of Wine and Beers here also. Friendly staff and lots of hippy and earthy things for those who desire those goods. ;)
