- City hall is my favorite building in the city, and it’s on Kungsholmen! You get there by bus 3 towards Södersjukhuset, otherwise its like a 20 minute walk. I would recommend walking from the apartment to Rålambshovsparken and then walking by the water at Norr Mälarstrand to get there, it’s really beautiful. I would recommend getting a tour there during weekends to get inside the magnificent building, and to go up to the tower, it can be fully booked though.
o Other beautiful houses on Kungsholmen are Rådhuset (the local court), Landstingshuset (the regional parliament house).

Drottningens paviljong- Drottningholm castle, the king’s beautiful residence with a surrounding park. Its outside the city, from Fridhemsplan you can get there in 20-30 minutes by going to Brommaplan by the green line and taking bus 176 or 177.
A modern photography gallery near Slussen subway station (take the green line or bus 3, then walk 5-10 minutes). It’s really cool and modern and they have a bar and restaurant up top.

If you want to save time and still enjoy it there’s a boat run by the company Strömma that will take you to Fjäderholmarna in 30 minutes from Nybrokajen.
