For shopping, there's the Village Gift Shoppe of Glendale, JackRabbit running store, with lots of choices for walking/running shoes, exercise gear, clothing, and more! There's also Stitch's Quilt Shop if you are into quilting and want to look for fabric you don't find just anywhere!

You can ride you bike from our place to there if you don't want to rent one. Also, if you have your own kayak, you can launch it into the lake without renting.
