Our family usually goes here at least once a year. They do not take reservations and it can get busy, so get there early. It is moderately priced. However, the portion sizes are on the larger side.

This is a 5-minute walk from our cabin. We love to go putt or hit a bucket of balls on the driving range. Great course too.

It's fun to float down the Truckee river in the summer. There are two different companies you can rent a raft from. I think they are essentially the same. It's a fun summer activity. You get on the river near Fanny Bridge by the Bridgetender.
