A bit weird to eat in the middle of a convenience store - we usually pick up our order and bring it home. No late night dining, it closes at 8 pm. 16649 South I-35. Turn left as you leave our neighborhood, stay on the frontage road to the gas station just north of us.

New Braunfels is home of Schlitterbahn, one of the world’s largest water parks, as well as favorite spots for tubing the Comal River, including Landa Park.

The Texas State Capitol overlooks the downtown. There are also boat rides on the lake, accessible on the south side of the river off Congress Avenue. People also gather for bat watching on Congress Avenue under the south side of the bridge at dusk.

Shopping for Necessities
The H-E-B grocery chain is the largest in Texas. There are two stores near us. The Buda store is about one mile north on IH-35. Stay on the access road, cross the first light, and turn left at the second light onto Main Street. There is also a Walmart in the same vicinity. The newer and larger H-E-B is 3.5 miles south on IH-35 in Kyle. Take the 1626 S exit. There is also a Walmart in Kyle.
