Killer restaurant and coffee shop. Interesting staff and guests, great place to chill out, get some work done, have a conversation, a coffee, or even full night out.

Killer vegan restaurant with an ambitious (and delicious) cocktail program. Pittsburgh / Eastern European cuisine at affordable prices (most items under $10), that are so good even meat lovers will be a fan.

Possibly my favorite overall restaurant in the city. Great for a quick lunch and coffee, a mid-afternoon Aperol Spritz, or a homemade pasta dinner that'll send you straight to bed. Everything is homemade and the kitchen operation is a beast. Fun to watch.

Sightseeing

This one is for fans of wild installation art. The most unique museum in Pittsburgh that tends to be overshadowed by the nearby Warhol museum (also great). There are permanent Yayoi Kusama and James Turrell pieces on hand, as well as killer rotating exhibitions.
