Safe destinations - Home of the oldest European civilization
The city of Iraklio (also written as "Heraklion") and the island of Crete are safe destinations!
Knossos palace, just outside the city, is the area of the 1st European civilization. Don't miss it, even though it will probably be loaded with tourists during summer.
