Huge rocks over by the recreation area perfect for family pictures! Also located at that area is access to a 4 wheel drive only beach area. You can pay by the day if you'd like to catch some fishing or just have a more private area for the family. If you need professional photography recommendations for during your stay, please let me know ahead of time and i'll see what I can arrange for you.

Ft Fisher Aquarium
Great spot for a rainy day activity or when it is too hot for the littles! It is open daily 9-5 and has an outdoor playground as well!

Thursday nights on the boardwalk
Family night with live music from 6-9pm featuring different styles of music weekly. Then at 9pm weekly watch an amazing fireworks display right on the boardwalk. Take in a ride on the new permanent Ferris wheel or let the kids burn some energy on the seasonal carnival rides located on the boardwalk from Memorial Day - Labor Day yearly. Fun for all ages! Family arcade, homemade fudge, dive bars and Pelican's snoballs are just a few more attractions you will find while perusing the boardwalk on any given day.
