If you want to leave the island and explore downtown. Downtown Wilmington has a lot for great restaurants, bars and shopping. Definitely worth spending a day and or evening there

2 outdoor amphitheater’s in the downtown area. Great venues and a lot of fun. Recommend looking at their schedule to see who will be there when you are visiting
