This is a great Irish restaurant and pub. Great selection on tap, often live music. Comfortable and relaxed but nice vibe. It is open for brunch on weekends and late night dinner (yes, after 10 pm.)

Good Mexican food and a great margarita. They have an amazing lunch menu special that includes a frozen margarita with it! We love their tacos and salads. Late night on weekends they have a DJ.

People love this place. It’s a small and humble spot with good quality food. We’ve only been once. I ordered the tilapia salad and it was pretty great with fresh mango and avocado.

Fancy restaurant with a gorgeous view of the city. If the weather's nice, absolutely sit outside. A bit out of the way, we suggest cabbing it. (About $8 from our apt.)

The park overlooks the East River and has skyline worthy shots of Manhattan. Highly recommended. You can hop on the East River Ferry for less than $10 and head to Brooklyn or Manhattan.
