Our house is on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in a section of older homes, some built, like ours, in the early 1900's. It's less commercial than some areas of the lakeshore, but is just two miles from Tahoe City. In town, you'll find grocery stores, hardware, movies, sporting goods, gas, etc. etc. Anything you want, you'll find in Tahoe City
