“Mexican shopping area boasting 100 shops over 3-blocks, with apparel, handcrafts & food galore. It's a unique and great place to shop for gifts. They have a large variety of items. The food is not unique but it is good. Plenty of parking but can be pricey parking lots. The Market Square is well decorated. Definitely worth going to experience historic feeling of the city. ”

“Travel Time: 28 minutes. One of my favorite places to visit here in San Antonio! So much history and gorgeous architecture that makes you feel like you’re stepping back in time. Plenty of space for kids to run around if you’re bringing them in tow. Admission is free to the public. Parking is free on site. There is a small gift shop in the square, or you can visit the visitor’s center if you’re looking for a souvenir. Please remember to be respectful of those attending Mass on Saturdays and Sundays during certain hours. When Mass is not in session, feel free to take a look around inside the church as well! ”
