Come experience the wonderful world of the honeybee where we encourage you to take pictures. We begin our 1 1/2 hour experience near Tampa, Florida. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. Your 1.5+ hour interactive nature experience with the bees begins with a multimedia overview of the life of a bee. You’ll see a hive and learn how to hold a frame (without squishing the bees -they don’t like that). We’ll get suited up. Light a smoker. Do a safety check, and approach the hive. At the hive you’ll see and feel the power of propolis (a supplement for humans as well) -- its the glue bees use to seal up the hive. We’ll lift the lid and go inside. For some, that’s might be as far as they want to go. But, if you’re adventurous, we will do a complete hive inspection: Pull frames to see how the bees create honey and keep the colony alive. You’ll see open “wet cells” of nectar that are still in the process of transforming into honey. You’ll see capped honey, tiny freshly laid eggs and all the stages of bee development ( larvae, caped brood, and newly emerging “baby bees”). I’ll show you how beekeepers help control pests (other insects and diseases) and keep the bees healthy so they can do their important work. You’ll hold frames of bees and feel the weight of a full frame of honey when compared to a frame of bees. There’s always time for selfies. With the warm sunshine and surrounded by beautiful green nature we will begin and end each lesson with some breathing exercises along with some light stress-relieving meditation. Whether you are looking to start your own backyard hive or just have a fascination with honeybees and want to learn more, this workshop is designed to provide an introduction to the craft of beekeeping. Looking for something fun, different, yet also educational? You have come to the right place. You will be fascinated to learn how much more bees are responsible for. Your session will begin with a short introduction to the bees. Afterwards, you will put on protective gear and go inside the Apiary with one of our Beekeepers. You will hold frames of bees, search for the Queen, and learn how to inspect a hive, among other activities. This is the perfect time to take a photo of your experience, so be sure to bring a camera! Enjoy the serenity and beauty of the surrounding landscape. Visit our farm venture into an apiary, and finish up with some raw, local honey. Other things to note You must be certain that you are not allergic to bees. You will have to sign a liability release form.

Paint/ Photoshoot;an introduction to the Artist, a brief history of murals, importance of public art, examples of works in Miami. (No Artistic talent is necessary.) -Introduction to materials, brushes, spray paint, rollers, drop cloths, latex paint, tape and palettes. -Then an explanation of the process and meaning of 'underpainting" as the first step of creating a community mural. A community mural involves groups of people creating together, I will show you the tasks and different sections of the mural. Each participant will be encouraged and given instruction on all facets of the mural. A group photo and progress shots will be taken during the mural process. -How to create a wash, painting with water to make the next stage after underpainting possible is my signature style. -Using different brushes to make different lines as well as the "dry brush" technique for shading on some realistic images will be explored by all in attendance. Then the best way for everyone to enjoy their time is to learn by doing! Set up and introduction is 15 minutes, The actual painting is one hour and the post/photoshoot is 15 minutes. The Final stage of details and photoshoot with your work to always remember the experience. Creating a permanent mural in the mural capital of the world "Wynwood" on a highly visible intersection will culminate in a group unveiling as we say "Artworld!!!! In this two-hour audience participation show, I take you through the history of how the Conga drums have influenced American Music (8 minutes), followed by the "15 minute Conga" lesson, and 60 to 70 minute audience play along to rhythms such as Jazz, Rock, Latin, Soul, Funk, R&B and Pop. We end the lesson with "Oh When The Saints Come Marching In". During the show, I'll also play several Conga Rhythyms from my recently published book to hopefully enlighten the audience to the history of this instrument. Our guests will get to experience sailboarding also known as windsurfing. A once popular sport in the 80s and 90s, windsurfing represents the ultimate adventure and sense of freedom. Now making a comeback windsurfing is starting to regain popularity, and we are glad to be one of the few places where you can still learn and enjoy this beautiful sport. By harnessing the power of the wind, the guest gets to experience sailing from point A to B and back. This guided experience features extra large (paddle board sized) boards fitted with small and lightweight sails which just about anyone can handle from kids to adults. In addition, the host is on the water along with the guests during the hands-on portion. It is a family-friendly endeavor, but no more than two guests are on the water at a time. The activity takes about two hours, and we meet on beautiful Lake Fairview just five minutes north of Downtown Orlando.

Come explore old Florida on this unique 3-hour tour in 100% CLEAR kayaks! We will paddle through the lush, spring-fed waterways of the Chassahowitzka River, affectionately known to us locals as the Chaz. Share the water with manatees, dolphins, alligators, river otters, and countless species of fish, and keep your eyes peeled for any of the unique species of birds above. This tour begins and ends at Seven Sisters Campground* located on a canal just off the main river. Paddle to Seven Sisters Springs, then paddle downstream to Baird Creek, a winding stream that is only accessible by small paddle crafts and is like a scene from Jurassic Park. We will pass through the lagoon of Blue Springs then onward towards the hidden gem of what is known as “The Crack,” a beautiful natural spring surrounded by forest, usually accessed on foot! After a refreshing dip and a ride on the famous rope swing, we will paddle back upriver to round out the end of the tour. Water shoes and goggles are recommended for maximum exploration potential! Kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and small dry bags will be provided. Swimming is not required, but we will walk through some waterways, so a towel is recommended! We will meet at a small beach on the Mediterranean Sea early in the morning when the light is soft and inviting for painting and rewilding our inner self so we can let go. You will be invited and guided by Kelham into getting in touch with nature using the landscape around you and then communicating this onto a large canvas that you will be painting on. You may be tuning into dancing with the bamboo or breathing with the waves, this will then become part of your painting in colours that make your heart sing. With Felicitys unique ability encourageing people to let go and living in flow state you will create something personal and in tune with your heart while having a truly magical experience.
