Additionally, any cancellation due to travel restrictions will be honored with 100% refund provided. This unit is one of two that I own in the Bayside Villas complex. Because this unit is a corner 2nd story unit, you will enjoy almost 270 degree views of both the waterfront. I include many amenities from bikes to longboards to beach gear and am also on site to help or assist with any special accommodations or issues you may require both pre-visit and during visit. This unit is located only a matter of feet from the beach, allowing guests to enjoy either the tranquility and hidden beauty of the bayside or the wonder of the esteemed Captiva beaches surrounding South Seas, all within feet of their residence! Also included in the rental is use of many amenities at the Bayside Villas complex, such as a pool/hot tub/lanai facility, beaches, bikes, fishing gear, grill and cooking area. The Bayside complex has the largest and best pool in South Seas, in our opinion, and is much less crowded than other pools on average. Also less than a walk to access locally renowned South Village Rum Bar and Grille Doc Fords, in addition to downtown Captiva Village. Guests are also welcome to use the Sanibel recreation center under a member guest pass of ours, featuring an olympic sized pool, tennis, basketball, spin and yoga classes, and a weight room. I am located within South Seas Resort in the Bayside Villas development. My unit is directly waterfront on the 2nd story of the Bayside Villas 5000 building. This is the building directly on the water, unlike the 4000 building. My unit is less than a three minute walk to the beach, 30 second drive to downtown Captiva, and 5 minute drive to the North Pointe at South Seas.

Beach Villa 2012 is a modern condo overlooking the Gulf of Mexico beach, with a great location in the South Seas Island Resort. It shares a nice pool and furnished sun deck, as well as walking paths and the beautiful, wide sandy beach. Even in the busiest season there is plenty of room on the beach, and on the prettiest days you may find it as uncrowded as the photo at the top of this page.
Enjoy cool breezes and views over the beach and Gulf of Mexico from the screened lanai. Starting with morning coffee, maybe a noon meal, or cocktails through dessert during an extended sunset and twilight, this could be one of your favorite spots on Captiva. *PLEASE NOTE: we are not part of the South Sea Resort’s rental guest program so guests do not pay for and are not eligible to use South Seas’ amenities, i.e. golf, trolley, fitness center or the North slide pool.*

My place is on a small Island called North Captiva. The island is about 4 1/2 miles long ( 2 1/2 of which is nature preserve ) and about 1/2 miles wide. You can only get here by boat or small plane.
This cottage is very cozy and is great for a couple getaway. It is located right on the beach on one of the best locations on the island.
We welcome you to our wonderful island. No cars just a laid back place to enjoy paradise!

Sanibel Island is recognized as one of the world’s best beaches. It is also known as one of the best family getaway locations for island vacations. The island is very close to the mainland, but it feels like another world. Gentle aquamarine waters of the Gulf of Mexico, golden sand and warm sun hold sway throughout the year. Sanibel is 12 miles long and 4 miles wide, and is famous for the world-class shelling beaches which stretch along the coast. The unique geographical orientation from east to west makes the beaches perfect for collecting shells from the Gulf of Mexico. With no traffic lights, neon or high-rises, Sanibel has an authentic old-world Island charm. It is unlike anything else in The United States and a Sanibel Island vacation is a dream. The Sanibel-Captiva Barrier Islands are a relatively new geological feature. It was formed within the last 6,000 years – a geological blink of an eye. The islands formed as a result of siltation and accretion, as sand was pushed onto the bedrock forming the sea floor at the edge of the mainland. Nearly half of the 12,000-acre island is designated for conservation and preservation. This is most notably in the form of the J.N. “Ding” Darling Wildlife Sanctuary, which is the largest undeveloped mangrove sanctuary in the United States. Sanibel Island has been continuously inhabited since at least 500 B.C.E, first by the Calusa Indians, then by European settlers after it was first “discovered” by Ponce De Leon in 1513. Legend has it that Ponce De Leon named the Island “Santa Isabella” after Queen Isabel while searching for the “Fountain of Youth.” In 1523, after two years attempting to establish a permanent colony, and searching in vain for the secret of eternal youth, Ponce de Leon was struck by an arrow and gravely injured in a battle with a Calusa raiding party. The Spaniards abandoned their colony in defeat and retreated to Cuba, where De Leon died from his wounds. Other legends claim the Island was named by the first mate of the famous pirate Gasparilla, after his beautiful lover Sanybel, whom he had left behind in Spain. The first known appearance of a named location on the island is from a map dated from 1765. The map was labeled Puerto de S. Nibel. Furthermore, the historic lighthouse is located at Point Ybel, derived from the original name, Santa Ybel. Sanibel is the perfect backdrop for stories of pirates and buried treasure. Many colorful and interesting characters have made the island their home. the first modern settlement on Sanibel, or “Sanybel” as it was known at the time, was established by the Florida Peninsular Land Company in 1832. The colonists abandoned Sanibel just 17 years later in 1849. After the island was repopulated in 1862, permission for a lighthouse was granted. The lighthouse was not begun until 1884, but was completed just a few months later. Since that time, Sanibel has been one of the best kept secrets for vacationers lucky enough to discover it. Through conservation, care and the love of the people who live, work and visit here, the Island maintains the rustic seaside charm which has made it the gem of the Gulf for the last 100+ years. Modern Day Sanibel Island hasn’t changed much. There are no traffic lights, and one main road. In addition, boutique shops and restaurants are alive with character. People are friendly, and it is one of the safest cities in America. Perfect for families, and pets are welcome at many hotels, condos and beaches. Furthermore, warm, sunny days are the norm, and the beaches are never crowded. The water is warm and calm, and the bottom is soft. Half of the island is conservation lands or sanctuaries. The Island also has activities for everyone. You can spend the day fishing, snorkeling or swimming. Collect shells from the beach or sunbathe. Go hiking, bike riding or kayaking. Watch live music while you eat at one of the great restaurants. Check out the Farmers markets, or visit the great art galleries. Whatever you like to do, you will find it on Sanibel Island.

Historic downtown Fort Myers and the River Walk are fun and beautiful with myriad funky little shops and a wide variety of dining experiences including the second Ford's, Capone's Pizza, The Lodge, etc. There really is too much to list.

The TENANT acknowledges that Occupancy for said property is limited to 6 as per fire code you have paid to have how ever many you paid for in the unit additional persons will incur more fees. This lease shall begin on arrival date at 4pm, The lease shall end departure date at 10am failure to vacate the premises by the aforementioned time is a violation of this lease and a charge will be assessed depending upon when you vacate the property; unless prior arrangements have been agreed to and stated above. Holdover rental rate will be at the rate of 4500.00 per day plus tax (if you do not let me know ahead of time that you wish to extend your rental and refuse to leave). The TENANT agrees to pay total pricing as stated on airbnb USD of which all was due at time of booking on airbnb Plus whatever fees you were charged by airbnb for booking on line with them and the $500 security deposit is paid for when you booked on airbnb as well security deposits are refunded automatically by airbnb 7 days after departure if the conditions of the deposit are met; which includes for the rental dates above: all linens for the beds, towels, hand towels, toilet paper, washcloths, shampoo, bar soap and all taxes, cleaning upon departure, and service by my concierge for key pick-up/drop off and handling of any issues/concerns or emergencies. Please note there is not daily cleaning service for this rental unless you pay for the optional full housekeeping service if you would like that option let me know. The rental will be cleaned and provisioned as stated above upon arrival and cleaned upon departure. The purpose of this lease is a vacation rental. Rental deposit monies are due as stated above or unit may be rented to another party. 11. My rental properties are clean and well maintained. We believe that our pictures are extremely representative of the unit you will occupy. Smoking is not allowed inside the premises (If you do smoke in the condo there will be a $800 charge to clean the unit) 13. In case of cancellation, the rental monies are not refundable unless, after reasonable efforts on the part of the landlord to re-book the cancelled date(s), the unit is in fact re-booked, in which case the refund shall be the monies received less 1) a $100 booking fee and 2) the difference, if any, between the original rental price minus the re-booked rental price. Reasonable efforts shall mean the re-listing of the unit on the same listing site or service as the tenant used to book the unit. 14. No security deposit is required if you are a previous renter in good standing if you are not a previous renter a $500 security deposit is required. The unit is expected to be left in a condition for which there are no broken, damaged or items taken from the unit. Also if there is additional cleaning necessary above the "normal" cleaning you will be charged $35 an hour for the cleaner. Deductions from the security deposit will include but are not be limited to: broken or damage items, items taken from the unit or extra cleaning above a "normal" clean. I also may collect from you above and beyond the $500 security deposit for anything costing above $500 security deposit. Lost keys are charged $40 each.     South Seas 2527 is located in the Beach Villas area of the South Seas Resort, the Gulf of Mexico and pool can be viewed from the private lanai. This second floor unit has one king size bed located in the bedroom and pull out queen size sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully stocked, there is an inside and outside dining table for your enjoyment. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels are provided with this unit since resort amenities are not available when you rent through an owner.
    **Per county ordinance, reservations are prohibited all short term rentals from any hot spot areas. Please send an inquiry with where you are traveling from and I will respond if that area is acceptable.** **Unit is thoroughly wiped down, sanitized, sprayed with disinfectant and linens laundered with bleach between each guest.** With this space, you have access to the Beach, Pool and BBQ grills located in front of the unit. BBQ tools are located in the unit. The unit has one king size bed in the bedroom and one fold out sofa in the living area. As most fold out sofas are, it is not comfortable for two adults. Therefore, I will not accept reservations for four adults.
    There are many restaurants, shops and water rental items available just outside of the resort gate. Captiva boasts many restaurants such as the quirky Bubble Room, the great sunsets at the Mucky Duck and the views of the Green Flash.

    Sealoft 104 is one of nine self-contained homes found in a quiet, secluded and private area located in the middle section of the island of Sanibel.
    When entering the home, stairs with a landing bring you up into a screened-in porch that leads into the kitchen which is fully equipped with dinnerware for 12, cooking utensils and cookware, a dishwasher, garbage disposal and stackable laundry. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and features a rattan dining room table with glass top and padded chairs on a white tile floor. It opens up onto a screened-in deck that provides a wonderful view of lush vegetation. Off the kitchen is a spare bedroom which has a queen bed and double closets with a separate full bathroom that features a stand-up shower and vanity. The living room is hardwood floor and features pacific blue and white trim and one wall of windows with blinds looking out to a lovely view. A large flat screen TV offers cable and a DVD player along with playing cards and a book collection. The master bedroom is off the living room with its own private bathroom and walk-in shower, queen bed and another screened-in deck that overlooks the pool and boardwalk to the beach. The upstairs leads to a loft which has two single beds, a TV with cable and a closet with a rollaway. There are ceiling fans in every room and air conditioning throughout the house. Other features include internet access, linens and blankets, a propane grill, beach toys, private driveway, pool and tennis court and a two minute walk to the beach which stretches for miles in each direction and provides world class shelling and romantic sunsets!
    This comfortable cozy beach house is within walking distance of Periwinkle Way and its many restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Several bike rentals are available with bike paths that weave throughout the island and paths only steps from the house. The museums, the beautiful Sanibel Library and the famous Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge are all within a half mile of the house. A delightful walk along the boardwalk leads you to a beautiful stretch of beach covered with shells and views of Fort Myers and Bonita Bay. A short 20 minute drive will take you to the beautiful island of Captiva where art galleries and unique restaurants await you!

House Notes South Seas Beach Villa Beach Villa 2532 is located in the “2500” building in South Seas Plantation, Captiva Florida. Make the second left after the guard house to enter the parking lot and turn left at the end when you see the building in front of you. It is on the left (South) end of the building on the third floor of the elevator (the unit occupies the top two floors). Take the elevator to the 3nd floor, exit left, and follow to you see the door marked 2532. To enter South Seas Plantation, you simply state your name to the guard gate and unit number at 4pm and they give you a parking pass the code for the unit was texted to you on your cell number provided at time of booking on airbnb YOU CAN use the pool, the chairs at the pool, and the beach. HOWEVER you will need to bring beach towels from the room, and get the beach chairs from the storage locker on the ground floor behind the unmarked door to the right of the elevator when looking at the building from the parking lot. LOCKER COMBINATION IS TC-66 (you need the “-“ in there) The key to the outer door will be hanging in the kitchen and marked “owner’s locker”. DO NOT LOSE OR LEND THIS KEY! The door, and the locker door, MUST be shut and locked each time you leave the owners storage area! You can use the tennis courts, but you must register at the tennis pro shop and pay a fee (all guests pay a fee). The fee is $15.00 for adults and 10.00 for children (under 18). The beach chairs we provide save you $65 per week and that is if you only get two chairs and an umbrella that persons not renting from me outside the resort usually do not provide. I provide these beach items so that my guests can save money. If something happens to them let me know since if they break they will not be available for the next guest. If they do break you must report this so I can have them replaced. You do NOT need to replace them but you will be billed for the replacement of any broken items. I do not guarantee that the umbrellas will be in working order only the chairs I have had too many guests not be honest about breaking them and can no longer guarantee they are not broken or damaged. YOU CAN go to all the businesses outside the gate, (Starbucks. And etc.) as well as Doc Fords restaurant adjacent to the entrance to SSP very close to the unit you are in well within walking distance. You WILL NOT be able to use any of the SSP amenities since you are not a SSP guest. This includes but not limited to: riding the trolley, you can not play on the golf course, you can not use the gym, you can not use their beach chairs or their beach towels. You cannot buy anything at the stores in the resort as they do not take money, only South Seas Room charges. Trash bins are under the building to the extreme right when looking at the building from the parking lot—sort of go underneath the right hand set of stairs and you will see them. There is a barbeque at the pool that you are welcome to use, and barbeque equipment is in the kitchen. This is at the pool that you see right outside the screen patio. We stock beach towels with our linen set up. You get beach towels in the unit There are washer/dryers on the ground level, and you should bring LOTS of quarters for them! $2.50 per wash $2.50 per dry. This is a CONDO unit so you will NOT have linen changed, or towels during your stay unless you ask my concierge to do so at an extra charge to you. Some laundry soap is provided in the “starter” set of all paper products, soaps, etc. on your check in. Please do not remove anything from the unit. Phone and Internet The phone is for local and long distance calls for the US ONLY NO 900 calls. So long distance in the US is fine and is part of your rental. There is FREE wireless in the unit use the password in the house notes that were provided particular to the unit in your email upon booking There are extra pillows and blankets in the master bedroom closet at least this is where they are usually left (for the day bed upstairs) but if you cannot find then check in the downstairs bedroom closet sometimes they get moved by the prior guest. There are a couple of iPhone docking stations in the unit. ALL the remotes are clearly marked which room and which device they are for. There are extra batteries, as well as flashlights, first aid kit, cards, pens, paper etc., in the drawer across from the refrigerator. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, and disposer. The manuals for all the stuff is in the bottom drawer under the living room TV. PLEASE turn the AC off if you have the sliders open. There is a mini vacuum, as well as mop, broom and pail to help keep the place clean located in the within bedroom closet. Iron and ironing board in the master bedroom closet. In the owners locker downstairs you will find beach chairs, an umbrella (not guaranteed). I am there frequently to check to make sure they are being returned but not all the time if you rented one of my units with a locker access the key will be on the fridge and please place it there on departure Shopping: Once at Captiva, you are far from all reasonable shopping. On Sanibel (a 15 to 20 minute drive from Captiva) there is BAILEYS which is a liquor store, hardware store, super market deli. Great spot with excellent selection. Turn at the Speedway gas station and just after Periwinkle it is on the side of the road next to the movie theater. There is also Jerry’s on Periwinkle. There is a CVS just up from the Speedway station. Believe it or not, gas is CHEAP at the Speedway station too. It is for sure the best place to fill up.     Matlacha is an "Old Florida" fishing village, home to many brightly colored art galleries, seafood restaurants, and traditional Florida fish shacks. There is much to do and see. Moon Shell Hideaway is just around the corner. Boat or kayak to five different restaurants. Live music every evening.
    Matlacha Isles is a boating/fishing community. There are about 100 homes in the neighborhood, all waterfront. Very quiet and friendly. Lots of walkers and bikers. Dog friendly but must be on leash at all times.
