Christopher's Homestay Bedroom 3 is a small single room built in the garden under the Rose Apple Tree. The room is very cool as it is shaded by the Rose Apple tree, and it has a wall mounted fan. No A/C. Sharing the shower and toilet of the main house.

As Bedroom 3 is a small single room, sharing the bathroom and toilet of the main house so we'd like to offer it at less than the $10 dollar/night that AirBnB accepts as the minimum, but we can't;
the system doesn't allow a room charge of less than $10.
So you will pay $10, but we are offering a second night FREE, effectively a rate of $5/night.

If you're only planning to stay only one night (and therefore you can't claim your free night) we'll instead offer you a free dinner and a free breakfast. How's that?

We think that's a fair price for a small single room sharing the main house's shower and toilet. So single budget travellers all very welcome.

The Dalupotha area of Negombo is like a quiet village. The local people are kind, polite and helpful, with a ready shy smile and charm. There are several handy shops: There's a very small little shop round the corner from us. There's a small general shop within walking distance at the end of our road, and at the same location there's a big general shop which sells most things that we need daily. In Negombo Town there is the large super market Arpico, and the Cargills supermarket.

I came to Sri Lanka in 1999 at the invitation of my Sri Lankan friend, who befriended me when he rescued me in a sandstorm in the desert of what was then the Riyadh Airport construction in Saudi Arabia.

I loved Sri Lanka so much that I decided that I really had to have a little holiday home which I could visit in Sri Lanka. Fortune favoured me, and I found a little village house which was just being finished by the local builder in the small village of Dalupotha, just outside the busy coastal town of Negombo.

I loved my little village house. I visited twice a year, and over the years I added two annex bedrooms with shower rooms so that I would have rooms for family and friends to come to visit on holiday. Now I am very pleased and delighted to make these rooms available to AirBnB visitors. I look forward to meeting you and to hosting you while you are in Negombo.
