This property is in a friendly, safe neighborhood only a few miles from downtown Atlanta, the City of Decatur, and Stone Mountain. Airbnb guests have a private entry at the front of the house to their comfortable bedroom and full bathroom. There is no kitchen access, but a small refrigerator, a microwave, eating utensils and cleaning supplies are in the room for guests to use during their stay. A laundry room is also in the Airbnb area for the use of guests and is shared with other members of the house.

There ARE PETS that live in the house, but are NOT in the Airbnb area. 2 dogs live upstairs and have access to the backyard. There is a cat room in the house which is a big space, includes an accessible outdoor catio, and houses a few foster cats. These cats are available for adoption through Dekalb County Animal Services and are temporarily fostered in the home so they have a safe and comfortable place to reside. Please be mindful of this if you are extremely sensitive or allergic to cats.

Also, the front yard of the Airbnb has a table and chairs under a shady oak tree where guests may sit and relax whenever desired. There are a variety of bird feeders throughout the front yard so bird watching is a wonderful way to relax and clear your head in the morning and evening. Flower gardens also decorate the property during most of the year.

Guests may use the private bedroom and bathroom on the bottom floor of the house. The laundry room in the downstairs hallway is shared. Guests may use the washer and dryer, the detergent and dryer sheets, as well as the iron and ironing table. There is a large trash can and recycling container at the top of the driveway where guests may dispose of trash as needed.

This is a lived in home, not only an Airbnb. Guests are in a private section, but others reside in the rest of the house. Sounds of footsteps, doors opening and closing, voices, yard work going on, a dog barking with happiness as he starts out on a walk, a neighbor knocking on the front door for a visit, etc. will be heard. It is quiet for the most part, but there are sounds so guests need to expect and accept the noises of the host family just as the host family respects sounds of the guests.
